Planning- Evidence of 2 Title Sequences

The 2006 movie 'The Fall' has definitely influenced our film opening. Although the concepts of both films are completely different, what we did notice and take up on was the slow pacing in reference to how to titles appear on the screen, as well as the way it is structured. If we choose to portray this same idea within our opening scene, it could be effective in accompanying the music to add to the suspense and tension we're hoping to create within the scene. We also found the pacing of the actual opening to 'The Fall' appealing, and are also planning to incorporate elements of slow paced movement when editing.

The 2007 movie CONTROL also helped influence our opening sequence, mainly because of the font being used but we found it also opened our eyes to the many possibilities when editing our titles to create effect. An example would be the effect used on the font within this title sequence. The titles are made to fade in and then out although not completely so we're are still able to read the titles, as if representing epilepsy attacks. We collectively thought this was a unique way of portraying the titles.
